We are an intimate lay-led congregation in Tallahassee, Florida We have no clergy but occasionally have a rabbi or cantor visit for a few days. The shul was founded by a group of Jewish families in 1976. Members lead services, share and participate in life-long learning, educate children, carry on other shul programs, and support each other in times of joy and sadness. Congregation Shomrei Torah is affiliated with the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism.
